Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Key Account Manager – Driveline Products. This is a hybrid work opportunity based at our Southfield, MI campus.
What You’ll Do- Manage daily sales/commercial activity and long‑term growth opportunities for assigned products within Eaton’s Mobility Group.
- Deliver on revenue and profitability targets by selling value, achieving pricing actions, and executing budgetary or contractual price changes for OEMs, Tier 1, and service businesses.
- Act as the key focal point for all strategic customer issues worldwide, based on customers’ regional HQ location.
- Articulate clear understanding of current and future product market share targets, pricing strategies, and profit expectations, and benchmark best practices with internal and external departments.
- Develop and deploy market‑driven pricing strategies in collaboration with product managers, ensuring globally consistent pricing and support for Eaton’s long‑term financial targets.
- Monitor global and regional market dynamics, customer and competitor developments, and recommend strategies to counteract pressures.
- Provide customer interface strategy, build strong rapport with key decision makers, visit customers, attend conferences, and support new and existing opportunities.
- Own total customer satisfaction for assigned products, leading customer scorecard reviews with operations to improve satisfaction and meet cross‑functional deliverables.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 4 years of sales experience with automotive OEMs and/or Tier I suppliers.
- Applicant must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Southfield, MI (active‑duty military service members are exempt).
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering.
- Master’s degree.
- Ability to plan and manage the execution of business plans.
- Experience in technical sales or program management for highly engineered products.
- Experience with automotive driveline or torque‑control products.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage resources and achieve results in a matrix environment.
- Well‑developed financial and analytical skill set, including ERP system use, cost analysis, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data and provide critical summaries.
- Leadership skills that foster strong relationships, align with regional business goals, and support strategic thinking and change adaptation.
The compensation range for this full‑time position is $–$ annually plus a sales incentive plan. Benefits include health, welfare, retirement, and paid and unpaid time‑off programs.
