Sales Intern

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to support our Sales team in driving customer engagement, business development activities, and revenue growth initiatives within the automotive industry. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales operations, customer relationship management, market intelligence, data analysis, and emerging sales technologies. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, organized, and eager to gain practical experience in a fast-paced business environment while learning how modern sales teams leverage data and AI-driven tools to improve performance and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of customer presentations, proposals, sales materials, and business reviews.

Support customer communication, follow-up activities, and relationship-building efforts.

Conduct market, industry, and competitive research to identify trends and potential business opportunities.

Maintain and update CRM systems, sales databases, and customer records.

Analyze sales data and generate reports to track key performance metrics, pipeline activity, and customer trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Program Management, Marketing, and Customer Service, to support customer needs and business objectives.

Utilize AI-powered tools and technologies to improve prospecting, customer insights, data analysis, and sales process efficiency.

Assist in identifying opportunities to automate or streamline sales-related activities through the use of AI and digital tools.

Participate in customer meetings, internal sales reviews, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies to support research, customer insights, content creation, data analysis, and process optimization.

Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.

Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in the automotive industry, sales operations, customer engagement, and emerging technologies.
