Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Southfield, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors by monitoring premises and enforcing company policies.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce company rules and regulations, including access control and visitor management.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by Michigan state law.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting. The Security Officer will work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
