Union Southfield MI Plumber

Overview

Under general guidance of the Master Plumber and management, repairs and maintains machinery and

mechanical, electronic, plumbing and electrical equipment.

This position will be located n Providence
- Southfield, MI.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates personal commitment to the organization s core values through active involvement in the quality improvement process.

* Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, works to prevent unsafe conditions

and behaviors, and participates in organizational and departmental safety programs.

* Maintains daily contact with management to report general status of activities in the afternoon shift.

* Assembles, installs, adjusts, repairs, and maintains complex or specialized plumbing systems, lift

stations, sump systems, sanitary and storm systems. Provides maintenance/repair to domestic water

systems including potable water and reverse-osmosis systems.

* Repairs and maintains a variety of plumbing equipment and fixtures, such as valves, faucets, toilets,

basins, garbage disposals, water tanks, and lawn sprinklers.

* Performs metal fabricating, brazing, cutting and repairs using as and electrical welders.

* Assists Master Plumber of their duties and responsibilities.

* Performs snow removal duties and spreads salt on hospital driveways, entrances, and walkways as

assigned.

* Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.

supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

* Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Required Credential(s):

* Journey Plumber required.

Education:

* High School graduate or equivalent required. Attendance at hospital equipment training schools.

Work Experience:

* Four years as Licensed Journey Plumber required
