Applied Innovation is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Production Field Service Technician to join our team and support customers throughout the Detroit and Toledo areas
. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with technology, troubleshooting complex equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service. Previous field service or technical experience is required, but specific production equipment experience is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a Monday to Friday 8 AM - 5 PM role.
- Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and service high-speed production equipment and related accessories.
- Manage an assigned territory and provide a high level of service, responsiveness, and professionalism to customers.
- Diagnose equipment issues and identify effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and internal teams to ensure customer service needs are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, supplies, and tools.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and recommended solutions.
- Represent Applied Innovation professionally in every customer interaction, you are the face of our company in the field.
- Operate a company vehicle safely, responsibly, and courteously.
- Understanding and alignment with the organization’s core values.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Valid driver's license and a good driving record including no DUI’s in the past 5 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training is a plus.
- Canon and/or Ricoh factory certifications are preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of print drivers and network communication is helpful.
