Full-Stack Engineer

The Journeyman will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting full stack applications in a cloud-native AWS environment. The role requires strong hands‑on development experience, adherence to Agile practices, and a focus on quality, security, and performance across all deliverables.

Clearance Requirement: Public Trust required

• Minimum of five years of software development experience with hands‑on design and development of full stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in building platforms on AWS using cloud‑native technologies, including Serverless or SAM, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Proven experience building and modifying code with comprehensive unit testing to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Strong expertise in modern web technologies with deep hands‑on experience in Node.js for backend development and React.js for frontend development.
• Solid understanding and practical experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Experience with AWS Dev Ops practices and Cloud Watch log analysis.
• Ability to triage production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Experience documenting technical designs and solution approaches.

• Analyze and solution user stories and participate in story development.
• Develop application features aligned with approved user stories and technical designs.
• Perform thorough unit testing and defect resolution to ensure code quality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups and sprint meetings, and provide regular progress updates.
• Completion of story cards with the highest level of quality, ensuring data security and compliance standards are met.
• Timely support for defect fixes across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support application deployments across all required environments.
