Staff Software Engineer, Engineering. Southfield, MI.
Responsibilities- Design and develop software, improving existing code.
- Evolve and transform the architecture of software applications.
- Author team coding, documenting, and testing standards.
- Conduct impact analysis.
- Lead code reviews and debugging efforts.
- Lead continuous learning activities.
- Mentor team members.
- Participate in hiring.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of progressive experience with software engineering. Experience must include writing and configuring code, creating strategic technical designs, providing direction in design sessions and code reviews, creating system‑level code specifications, and identifying and analyzing complex technical issues. Proficiency in SOAP UI, JUnit, and RESTful services is required.
