Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Inspector to conduct onsite community inspections, document compliance concerns, and help maintain established community standards. This role involves extensive daily driving in a company-provided vehicle. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.

This role supports the Community Manager by identifying, documenting, and following up on compliance concerns while helping maintain the appearance and standards of assigned communities. Primarily responsible for conducting onsite community inspections to ensure compliance with Architectural Guidelines and Governing Documents. The position requires extensive daily driving in a company-provided vehicle. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.

Position Responsibilities:

Conduct routine onsite community inspections using a company-provided vehicle, including driving approximately 6–8 hours per day, 4–5 days per week, to monitor compliance with Architectural Guidelines and Governing Documents.

Identify, investigate, document, and report compliance violations, complaints, and concerns in accordance with company and association standards.

Maintain accurate compliance records, tracking, and follow-up activity using company systems and databases.

Prepare compliance documentation, notices, and supporting materials for Committee and Board review.

Support the Community Manager in maintaining community standards and addressing compliance-related matters.

Communicate professionally with homeowners, staff, realtors, and committees regarding compliance requirements, procedures, and submittals.

Follow established inspection schedules, complete follow-up inspections, and meet productivity expectations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required to operate a company-provided vehicle.

Ability to drive for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organization, prioritization, and tracking skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, internet applications, and database systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with homeowners, board members, staff, and other stakeholders.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Ability to interpret and explain Governing Documents, including Master Deeds, Bylaws, CC&Rs, and Architectural Guidelines.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Position involves sitting, standing, driving and movement throughout the day.

  • Utilizing mobile devices or tablets for documentation.

Education Required

High School or better.

Experience Required 3 years:

Full time, paid, professional experience in an administrative support position involving knowledge and enforcement of rules and regulations to provide ongoing support for internal and external customers. Valid driver’s license.

Preferred 2 years:

Full time, paid, professional experience working in an administrative support position within an HOA management role to be familiar with CC&R’s and other HOA functions in accordance with compliance and enforcement of governing documents.
