Aluminum Mig Welder

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum components used in tarp systems and related products.
• Fabricate and assemble aluminum parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.

Qualifications

• Previous aluminum MIG welding experience is required.
• Ability to perform clean, consistent, and accurate welds.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and basic fabrication tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to successfully complete a welding test.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to safely handle welding equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
