Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to all safety policies and procedures, conducts regular safety sweeps, manages forklift and hazardous material handling, complies with steel standards, and promptly reports unsafe situations to management.

• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandize the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor according to company policies.
• Present and maintain merchandise presentation by stocking items, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing, and securing fragile or high‑shrink items.
• Monitor tire and battery orders daily, assist members with appointments for installation, communicate lead‑time changes or cancellations, and suggest alternatives.
• Provide expert member service and recommendations by greeting members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing and service decisions, and resolving concerns.
• Drive sales and service excellence in the TBC by promoting member awareness of TBC offerings.
• Triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, manage the queue, and maximize efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance protocols, TPMS, product specifications, service standards, and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Utilize technology (digital tools and handheld devices) to plan sales, enhance the service experience, and make real‑time decisions.
• Advocate the brand by modeling high‑quality service, supporting training, and mentoring team members.
• Process sales, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain documents and records.
• Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners to meet priorities and drive continuous improvement.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Age 18 or older.
• Experience in the auto service industry or retail (preferred).

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
