Automotive Service Advisor – Advisor 1, Car Care Customer Service & Sales

Base pay: $24.70 per hour (subject to adjustment based on experience, geographic location and other factors). Eligible for uncapped monthly performance bonus and additional spiffs and contests.

• Greet customers, answer telephone calls and schedule appointments promptly and courteously.
• Review repairs and services with customers, ensuring clear understanding of services performed.
• Contact customers if there is any deviation from the original estimate of cost or time the vehicle will be ready for pickup.
• Record the name and time of approval for all repair/service orders and any additional costs.
• Distribute work to all shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy.
• Supply information to technicians and customers as required.
• Arrange for repairs and payment for vehicles covered by extended warranty programs.
• Arrange towing or alternate transportation such as shuttle or rental vehicle per Total Repair Care (TRC) standards.
• Monitor inspection dates in system to ensure inspections are completed before due dates.
• Notify customers to have vehicle serviced according to manufacturer recommended intervals and state requirements.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years relevant experience in a fast‑paced environment with a proven sales and customer satisfaction record, or prior automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to communicate that information to support team, customers, and technicians.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to complete required pre‑employment screenings (background check and drug screening).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
