Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and performances, and track their progress. You'll collaborate with store staff to support enrollment, scheduling, and customer service, while promoting instruments, accessories, and educational materials.

This role is ideal for a musician who loves teaching, values student growth, and thrives in a collaborative, education focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured, engaging lesson plans aligned with student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, ensembles, auditions, and performances
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff on scheduling, enrollment, and customer communication
• Promote instruments, accessories, and educational materials that support learning
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and safe studio environment
• Participate in store events, recitals, and outreach activities to grow lesson enrollment
