About This RoleWe are seeking talented and compassionate Early Childhood Teachers/Assistant Teachers to join our team at Town & Country Early Learning Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children from birth to 5 years old. Our Infant/Toddler teachers work closely with an assistant teacher to care for up to 8 children aged 6 weeks to 36 months, while our Preschool teachers oversee up to 20 children aged 3 to 5 years.
What You’ll DoKey responsibilities include:
- Implementing positive discipline techniques to foster independence, self-regulation, and social skills in children
- Accurate record keeping and data management
- Maintaining open and effective communication with families
- Ensuring confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries
- Maintaining a safe, engaging, and educational learning environment
- Developing curriculum that aligns with the CTELDS to support children’s growth and development
- Evaluating children’s progress in alignment with the CTDOTS
- Maintaining required certifications and staying up-to-date with industry regulations
- Demonstrating a commitment to punctuality and reliability
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Have at least 12 ECE credits
- Be at least 18 years old
- Meet NAEYC Accreditation requirements by holding a BA/BS in ECE, Child Study, Child Development, or a related field
- Provide evidence of experience working with young children, preferably three professional references
- Possess reliable transportation
- Demonstrate the ability to SMILE:

- Employees working 35 - 40 hours/week are considered full time after completing a 90-day work test period.
