Construction Engineer (Structural Engineer) – Southington, CT

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our Construction Engineering Services team. The role supports all aspects of the construction process, performing innovative design engineering, brainstorming conceptual designs, executing and reviewing structural calculations, developing plans, scheduling tasks to meet client needs, and mitigating risk to keep our construction crews safe.

• Experience with temporary structures and/or construction engineering
• Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
  Master’s degree or greater in Structural Engineering preferred
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Professional Engineer licensure or eligibility in the United States
• Strong all‑around academic knowledge of structural engineering
• Experience with engineering design software (AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Civil 3D, Finite Element Analysis)
• Team‑work experience
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, at all organizational levels
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments
• Capability to access all points of a construction site in wide‑ranging climates and environments
• US citizen
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive
• Working out of Plantsville Office

Salary range: $90,000–$140,000 per year (depending on experience and skill level).
