The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.

This role would be located on the Bradley Campus in Southington, CT.

The Medical Secretary Performs a variety of clerical and secretarial duties including but not limited to: reception, appointment scheduling, patient billing, filing, word processing, and patient satisfaction.

This position will require some cross training for other cardiac department within the central region (as the staffing permits)

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.

• At least 5 years of medical secretarial experience in a hospital or physician office required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Patient billing experience is highly preferred.
• Medical terminology is highly preferred.
