Overview

Description
As a Service Now Architect, you are responsible for designing, governing, and ensuring the scalable, secure, and optimized use of the Service Now platform across an enterprise. You act as the technical authority for all platform-related decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME), primary squad point of contact, and champion for Service Now.
- Lead the solutioning, design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Service Now services in alignment with required processes and procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Define solutions and translate the architecture blueprint into scalable solution components focused on business value.
- Establish and maintain architectural strategies and design patterns commonly used within the Service Now ecosystem.
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code while enforcing best engineering practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and proper documentation.
- Partner with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own deliverables end-to-end—from design and implementation to automation and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development and deployment of applications and customizations on Service Now.
- Design software that is simple, intuitive, and easily customizable for customers to meet their business needs.
- Contribute to the design, enhancement, and rollout of new product features, while continuously improving the existing product suite.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Work daily with an energetic team of developers, product managers, and QA engineers following agile methodologies.
- Deploy applications through automation using configuration management tools.
- Sustain and improve processes related to teamwide knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers in both project work and career growth.
