We are looking for an expert in all aspects and configurations for enhancements and projects related to Webster Bank’s Encompass Loan Origination System, including advanced business rules, workflow rules, eFolder setup, TPO Connect, Consumer Connect, web settings, plugins, and other settings. The individual will support operational systems, handle production issues, drive root cause analysis, and prioritize IT or business solutions.

This role requires knowledge of the software development lifecycle and the ability to collaborate with IT and Business teams, communicate timely and accurately, and deliver assigned work on time.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledgeable of Banking Systems
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user need and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements; consider business application of technology to both current and future business environment.
  • Develop detailed application, product, and/or tool selection evaluation criteria based on identified product requirements.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and timely updates to team members, stakeholders, and management on the status and issues surrounding assigned work.
  • Actively participate in daily tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with end‑user community and maintain an environment of partnership.
  • Provide fast and accurate information.
  • Proactively remain engaged and aligned with user community on assigned work.
  • Proactively consider the broader business implications of proposed changes to current and future business needs.
  • Analyze, test, and implement changes of varying complexity.
  • Follow best practices and release control process.
  • Participate in requirements analysis for small to medium projects.
  • Support design, build, and test planning phases for small and medium scope enhancements and projects.
  • Support project manager/release manager by developing detailed project information such as scope, estimates, evaluation criteria, and task lists.
  • May be asked to lead smaller efforts.
  • May utilize requirement management tools.
  • Coordinate production releases with internal and external partners.
  • Manage associated risks effectively by producing appropriate risk mitigation plans.
  • Work with supervisor to oversee vendor relationships to ensure conformance with agreed‑upon SLAs.
  • Be available for escalated production issues as needed.
  • Help train team members on advanced configuration techniques.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent and proven interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and technical communication.
  • Skilled problem‑solver that is very detail‑oriented.
  • Proficiency in automated tools and desktop software.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a directly related field or equivalent required.
  • 5‑7 years of advanced Encompass configuration and administration experience required.
  • Certified Encompass Administrator upon hire required.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000

USD to $130,000

USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job‑related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
