POSITION:
Long-term Substitute, Evening Custodian – Full-time (40 hours per week)
Anticipated work schedule:
Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm
LOCATION:
Thalberg Elementary School
SALARY: $26.19 per hour
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:Southington Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute custodian to provide coverage at Thalberg Elementary School through December 2026 (anticipated). The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff while supporting the daily operations of the school. Please note that this is a temporary assignment and does not include benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a basic understanding of the need for building cleanliness and use of housekeeping equipment.
- Exhibit ability to get along with faculty, students and visitors.
- Exhibit ability to understand the necessity for the safety and security of the building and occupants.
- Demonstrate evidence of being in good physical health to meet the demands of the position.
