Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead their accounting and finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, driving process improvements, supporting ERP initiatives, and partnering with executive leadership to ensure the organization's financial success.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage the accounting and finance department, including direct supervision of accounting staff
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
- Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies throughout the finance function
- Lead and support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and transitions
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance within an ITAR-regulated environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other business units to support company objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting and finance leadership experience
- 4+ years of direct management experience
- Strong manufacturing industry experience required
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required
- Proven experience working with ERP systems and leading teams through ERP transitions or implementations
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be eligible to work within an ITAR-regulated environment:
- U.S. Citizen, or
- Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), or
- Asylee/Refugee
$145,000 - $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Additional Compensation- Two Profit-Sharing Bonus Opportunities Annually
- Exempt Position
- Monday through Friday
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Fully onsite
