Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for  Equipment Operator  opportunities in  Southington, CT . Responsibilities for an Equipment Operator include but are not limited to:
Machine Operation & Troubleshooting:  Safely operate moderately complex automated assembly machines, responding to machine faults, performing minor troubleshooting, and conducting Level I preventive maintenance.

Production & Documentation:  Perform start-up operations, complete electronic batch records, and maintain accurate product paperwork, including traceability and start-up checklists.

Inventory & Quality Control:  Fill component hoppers/bowls to maintain production, pull test samples for QC inspection, and ensure all non-conforming products are processed according to strict quality requirements.

Operational Efficiency:  Participate in line changeovers and clearances, update hourly production boards with efficiency metrics, and maintain 5S standards in all assigned work areas.

Candidates for Equipment Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of manufacturing experience or a Technical Certificate is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 80 lbs, with the stamina for standing, walking, and repetitive bilateral motion throughout the shift.

Technical & Communication

Skills:

Strong verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to use computer systems for data acquisition and inventory management.

Professionalism:  Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work in a production environment that may include clean room requirements or exposure to moving equipment and chemicals.

Pay:  $23.00 per hour (inclusive of a $1.00 shift differential)

Shift:  Monday – Friday, 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

Pay Details:  $23.00 per hour
