CNC Machinist

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a company (a leader in all phases of the metal stamping industry) in Southington, CT. This company has full machine shop capabilities, offering a large selection of used, rebuilt, and new power presses and accessories. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience running CNC mills and/or lathes and someone who can read and interpret blueprints.

salary: $52,000 - $82,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education:
No Degree Required

• Run CNC mills and/or lathes (conversational, GCode, or CAM)
• Basic understanding of different cutter/tools
• Able to machine steel, cast iron, bronze
• Able to read drawings and understand blueprints

• Setting up CNC Machines
• G and M Codes
• Blueprint Reading
• Operating CNC Machines
