Restoration Service Technician

Job OverviewService Master Apple Valley is hiring a dependable Restoration Service Technician to join our growing field team. This role involves hands‑on restoration work including water damage mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation support, demolition, and jobsite cleaning for residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable responding to emergency restoration situations. Prior experience in restoration or construction is helpful, but we provide training for motivated individuals.
Responsibilities- Perform water damage mitigation including extraction, drying, and equipment setup
- Assist with demolition and removal of damaged building materials
- Support fire and smoke damage cleanup and general restoration services
- Help with mold remediation and contents handling when needed
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Assist in documentation of job progress
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and company vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and industry restoration standards (IICRC guidelines)
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Participate in rotating emergency on‑call rotation (every other weekend)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to participate in 24/7 emergency on‑call rotation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, and demolition conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Water damage restoration or mitigation experience
- Construction, demolition, or general labor experience
- Fire or mold remediation experience
- Contents cleaning or carpet cleaning experience
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) are a plus
- Competitive hourly pay ($22–$25/hr based on experience)
