NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION:
Assistant Coach - Cross Country
LOCATION:
Kennedy Middle School
SALARY: $1,383.00 - $2,099.00 stipend
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
To assist and direct the Cross Country Team under the direction of the Head Coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship; contest preparation with applied knowledge of cross country concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit, have a current CPR and First Aid card, and have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate student athletes. Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
