Job Description

The Warehouse Lead will oversee daily warehouse responsibilities of assigned areas, directing employees in picking and staging customer orders, counting and cross‑checking staged orders, replenishing picking locations, organizing the warehouse, preparing finished goods, delivering products with a 26ft box truck, cycle counting, and other management‑deemed tasks. They will keep management informed of workload constraints, safety situations, employee and forklift issues. They must possess strong communication and leadership skills and demonstrate initiative, proficiency, integrity, dependability, and good attendance.

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor with warehouse checks and cycle counts, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
• Operate forklifts or other equipment as required, completing a daily vehicle inspection report and ensuring proper charging after use; may perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Manage daily workflow per supervisor, recognizing issues during sorting and escalating appropriately.
• Assist Receiving Clerk with receiving inbound shipments into Oracle and resolve receipt issues.
• Ensure employees complete required training and train new team members, reporting progress to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain professional communications with customers, customer service and management while processing and reviewing returns.
• Enter productivity data daily; assist with replenishments to maintain picking productivity.
• Apply general housekeeping duties and adhere to good manufacturing practices.
• Work independently and proactively, communicating key issues to management and department personnel.
• Provide flexibility to travel to other network facilities for emergency operations (approximately
