Senior Staff Accountant- TEMP

This is expected to start as a temporary role and would be eligible for hire once we have a full time position.

With our high growth trajectory, driven by both organic growth and acquisitions, we are actively recruiting a strong Senior Staff Accountant to join our team here in Southlake, TX.

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, preparing and maintaining accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits. They ensure financial data is accurate, comply with regulations, and support financial decision‑making. Key contributor in month‑end close activities.

• Leading team in meeting month‑end close deadlines
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations including bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review standard and ad‑hoc journal entries
• Variance analysis of cost center income statements
• Subject matter expert in Fixed Asset accounting, including roll forwards
• Subject matter expert in Lease Accounting ASC 842
  , including roll forwards
• Subject matter expert in Revenue Accounting ASC 606
  , including roll forwards
• Prepare and review audit support schedules
• Assist with preparation of footnote disclosures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA eligible preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in full‑cycle accounting (Service company preferred)
• Experience working with self‑insurance for Workers Comp, General Liability, and Medical
• Advanced Excel skills – Pivot tables, lookups, and database add‑ins
• Experience working in or with External audit
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly within various levels of organization
• Prolonged experience with progressive ERP systems (Workday Finance preferred)
