Staff Accountant, Southlake Hybrid

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant for a company in Southlake, TX. This position supports key accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Analyze assigned monthly P&L statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals as part of the month-end close process
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, including supporting schedules and documentation
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards
• Support payroll accounting and monthly accruals, including inter-company reconciliations
• Research and resolve accounting issues while contributing to process improvements and special projects
• Partner cross-functionally to analyze financial variances and support overall business operations
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience (public or industry)
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
