Business Development & Growth Partner Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services Overview
The Business Development & Growth Partner is responsible for driving new client acquisition for our outsourced accounting and advisory services. This is a relationship-driven, revenue-focused role centered on selling tangible value—
lower G &A costs, improved financial visibility, and scalable support for growing companies.
This role is ideal for a well-connected professional who understands how owners, CFOs, and operators buy services and who brings ideas, initiative, and accountability to growing a client base.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth- Generate new clients for outsourced accounting and advisory services.
- Position our firm as a cost-effective, strategic alternative to in-house accounting teams and traditional CPA firms.
- Clearly communicate ROI, cost savings, and operational benefits to prospects.
- Own the sales process from first conversation through close.
- Leverage and expand an existing professional network (owners, CFOs, PE, lenders, attorneys, advisors).
- Build referral and partnership channels with complementary service providers.
- Act as a trusted advisor during the sales process, not a transactional salesperson.
- Identify ideal client profiles, industries, and growth opportunities.
- Propose and execute creative ideas to generate leads (partnerships, events, targeted outreach, thought leadership).
- Provide market feedback on pricing, packaging, and positioning.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on firm growth strategy.
- Proven experience selling B2B professional services (accounting, finance, consulting, payroll, HR, SaaS, or similar).
- Strong understanding of how companies evaluate G &A, overhead, and scalability
. - Demonstrated ability to open doors and convert relationships into revenue.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort building a book of business.
- Confident communicator able to sell to executives and financial decision-makers.
