A healthcare client of ours based in Southlake, TX is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to add to their team. This team provides financial support to over 30 medical practices as well as their corporate team.

What You’ll Do

• Analytical:
  Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and other financial schedules to look at trends, variances, and aberrations
• Investigative:
  Direct and perform in-depth analysis of multiple data sources spanning but not limited to claims, billing, financial, and invoicing data
• Innovative:
  Continue to build the company’s financial planning and analysis function with an emphasis on performance improvement, providing quality management information and furthering the development of systems, processes, and metrics
• Proactive:
  Perform in-depth analysis of multiple data sources to model, project, and analyze opportunities to improve operations, and actively inform and solve for achieving budget in advance of month closes
• Goal-Oriented:
  Monitor business analytics pertaining to operations, benchmarking, KPIs etc. Implement and develop financial performance improvement plans.
• Team Player:
  Support the annual budgeting process
• Detail-Oriented:
  Prepare presentations and memos for management on results of business
• Groundbreaking:
  Collaborate with FP&A team, including Director, Managers, Senior Analysts, and Analysts, on special projects ranging from, but not limited to, “what if” strategic analysis, business forecasting, service P&L projections, etc.
• Relationships:
  Work with regional leaders, accounting, and operations to improve management reporting and KPI’s at both the company and individual practice levels

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and Planning experienced
• Ability to present financial information to non-financial audience
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgment
• A keen, intense curiosity to understand how everything works and work independently to value-add to improve processes
• Advanced skills in Excel, with an ability to understand big, complex models.
• Excellent professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment and ability to work hands-on with a sense of urgency, ability to collaborate and deliver an excellent work product in a fast-paced, and rapidly growing dynamic company

Nice-to-have Experience:

• Experience in healthcare, consulting, or public accounting is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another related field preferred.
