Position Summary
The HR Specialist – HR Data & Process is responsible for the integrity, efficiency, and continuous improvement of Human Resources systems, data, reporting, and operational processes. This role serves as the department's subject matter expert for HR analytics, HRIS administration, reporting, process documentation, audits, and operational excellence.

DescriptionThe position partners across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations to improve data quality, automate processes, and provide meaningful workforce insights that support business decisions.
Responsibilities HR Data Management- Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS.
- Monitor data integrity through routine audits.
- Ensure timely processing of employee transactions.
- Develop data validation and quality assurance processes.
- Produce recurring HR dashboards and executive reports.
- Develop workforce metrics and KPIs.
- Analyze turnover, recruiting, headcount, compensation, and workforce trends.
- Create reports for executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
- Serve as HRIS system administrator.
- Configure workflows and approvals.
- Test new functionality and system updates.
- Partner with IT and vendors on enhancements and integrations.
- Document and standardize HR processes.
- Identify automation opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop SOPs for HR operational activities.
- Support I-9 audits and employment compliance.
- Assist with benefit and retirement plan audits.
- Maintain personnel records in accordance with company policy.
- Support reporting for regulatory requirements.
- Support Open Enrollment.
- Assist with acquisitions and employee integrations.
- Coordinate HR technology implementations.
- Participate in cross-functional operational projects.
- Assist Payroll and Benefits with reporting.
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows.
- Maintain HR document libraries.
- Create templates and forms.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of HR Operations or HRIS experience.
- Advanced Excel required.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS preferred.
- Strong reporting and analytics experience.
