Cyber Security Engineer - Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer - Senior to join their team. As a Cyber Security Engineer - Senior, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting the cybersecurity infrastructure and initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a self-starting attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer - Senior

Location: Southlake, TX (Secondary locations – Austin, TX or Phoenix, AZ). This role requires onsite presence at the specified location.

• Implement and manage security solutions such as Ping Federate, Ping , and Ping Access with hands-on expertise.
• Monitor emerging security threats and assist in developing detection mechanisms to safeguard organizational assets.
• Troubleshoot security issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal security posture.
• Work with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to enhance security infrastructure.
• Maintain and configure security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

• 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Ping Federate, Ping , and Ping Access.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and working independently on complex security issues.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container security technologies.
• Knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and penetration testing.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to security challenges.
