Optomi, in partnership with a growing Managed Services Provider in Southlake, TX, is seeking a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a hybrid role supporting multiple client environments across the DFW area.
Responsibilities- Provide Level 1 desktop and laptop support (Windows 10/11).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues (keyboards, printers, network drives).
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory (password resets, permissions, account setup).
- Support Microsoft O365 (Admin Portal, mailbox creation, Outlook setup).
- Assist with basic Mac device support (~30 devices) and MDM tools (Jamf/Ninja).
- Work within Connect Wise and Ninja ticketing systems.
- Deliver professional, customer-facing support both onsite and remotely.
- Experience in Level 1 desktop or help desk support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments.
- Familiarity with O365 administration and Active Directory.
- Experience working in a ticketing system (MSP experience preferred).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in the Southlake / DFW area a few days per week.
