Role Overview Our organization is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Ping Identity Engineer to support and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical contributor with solid troubleshooting skills, working knowledge of development and scripting, and experience supporting modern, containerized environments. This role presents a contract-to-hire opportunity for the right individual who does not require sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement, support, and maintain IAM solutions using Ping Federate, Ping Access, and PingID.
* Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation issues.
* Support and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and federation protocols.
* Perform network trace analysis to resolve access-related issues.
* Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to support firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
* Monitor security events and assist in improving detection and response mechanisms.
* Communicate with internal stakeholders and document solutions and procedures.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, including hands-on security or IAM implementation.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Hands-on experience with Ping Federate, Ping Access, and/or PingID.
* Development and scripting experience (e.g., Python, shell scripting).
* Practical, hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
* Working knowledge of Linux environments, L2/L3 firewalls, VPN technologies, and IDS/IPS solutions.
* Understanding of federation concepts (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
*
* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications
* SSO domain experience in enterprise environments.
* Exposure to passwordless authentication technologies (e.g., HYPR).
* Familiarity with container security best practices and threat analysis.
* Experience supporting cloud-based or hybrid IAM architectures.
* Possess any federation experience or in related IAM technologies.

Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $45.00/hour to $55.00/hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
