Position Overview The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support business objectives. The manager oversees end-to-end supply chain functions including procurement, vendor management, inventory control, production planning, logistics, and distribution. The Supply Chain Manager drives performance through KPI analysis, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, production, and finance to ensure alignment between supply and demand while maximizing profitability and service levels.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies, analyze existing procedures, and drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with MRO suppliers, monitor supplier performance, and source new materials to meet business needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, oversee production planning, and minimize stockouts to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate transportation routes, manage warehouse operations, and optimize shipping processes to maximize profitability.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including shipping speed and inventory accuracy, to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, production, finance) to align supply with demand and support organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in supply chain operations, logistics, or procurement.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive results.
