Why This Role Matters
As the Market Vice President, Property & Casualty, you will lead the strategy, performance, and operational execution of a growing Property & Casualty organization across Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and the Select Business Unit. This role is responsible for transforming enterprise initiatives into measurable market results while ensuring exceptional client service, strong financial performance, and scalable operations. You will serve as a key member of market leadership, partnering closely with the Market President, regional leadership, carrier partners, and operational teams.
You'll help shape the future of the business by leading teams, integrating acquired agencies, improving workflows, and building the next generation of leadership talent across the market.
- Lead the overall growth, profitability, and operational success of the Property & Casualty division across Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and the Select Business Unit.
- Drive financial performance through ownership of revenue, expense management, retention, productivity, and operating results.
- Develop and mentor department leaders while building a high-performing, accountable, and client-focused culture.
- Establish and maintain service standards, workflows, quality controls, and data integrity practices that support exceptional client experiences.
- Lead agency integration efforts, including system conversions, workflow alignment, carrier consolidation, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Strengthen carrier and wholesale relationships while supporting producers with market access, strategy, and growth opportunities.
- Champion technology adoption, automation initiatives, and process improvements that increase organizational capacity and scalability.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key client relationships and support strategic growth initiatives throughout the market.

- 7 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience within Property & Casualty insurance agency operations or agency leadership.
- At least 3 years of experience leading teams through subordinate leaders.
- Demonstrated accountability for agency or divisional financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, and expense oversight.
- Experience leading significant organizational change initiatives, including acquisitions, operating model redesigns, or system conversions.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines, personal lines, small commercial markets, and agency operations.
- Experience with agency management systems and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to manage multi-office and multi-department service organizations.
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Experience partnering with leadership teams and employees across multiple organizational levels.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working within a national brokerage or acquisition-driven insurance organization.
- Applied Epic experience, including reporting and configuration expertise.
- Experience implementing carrier service centers, outsourced service models, or small commercial operating structures.
- Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, or ARM.
