About the Opportunity, This leadership role will oversee daily manufacturing operations within a regulated pharmaceutical production environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, production leadership, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture centered around quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will partner closely with Quality, Facilities, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining strict adherence to FDA regulations and industry best practice.

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization.
• Oversee production processes involving weighing, blending, granulation, compression, packaging, and related manufacturing activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as yield, downtime, throughput, and cycle times to drive operational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, FDA regulations, and internal quality standards.
• Partner with Quality Assurance teams on investigations, CAPAs, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production readiness for regulatory inspections and audit.
• Develop, mentor, and lead production supervisors, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to ensure equipment calibration, validation, and preventative maintenance programs remain effective.
• Drive a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Experience overseeing solid dosage manufacturing operations, including tablet production.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, FDA compliance requirements, and SOP implementation.
• Experience working closely with Quality Assurance teams and participating in regulatory audits.
• Proven success leading investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems, and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
