Keyholder Position

At Southern Tide, the Keyholder assists with daily operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, and safeguarding store assets.

• Present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand, interacting with customers and providing merchandise suggestions.
• Use point‑of‑sale software to handle routine register transactions, inventory receiving and transfers, and opening/closing registers and store.
• Provide product knowledge recommendations and professional service (fit, fashion advice, add‑ons).
• Participate in store‑related meetings, working toward exceeding sales and service performance goals.
• Operate the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business (merchandising, staffing, displays, advertising, promotions, hours).
• Safeguard store assets, maintain inventory integrity, prevent shrinkage, and assist with cycle counts and year‑end inventory.
• Open and close registers and store in the absence of a manager or assistant manager.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of retail experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and proficient communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and solve problems.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to 50lbs.
