Job Summary

The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team and is responsible for executing the store product strategy. This includes inventory management, back‑of‑house (BOH) product operations, and ensuring both floor and BOH are stocked and well organized. The role also provides input for performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and serves as Supervisor on Duty (SOD) during inventory shifts, delivering a world‑class guest experience on the floor when scheduled.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with store leadership to implement product strategy.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in accordance with SOPs.
  • Execute product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Engage team members in inventory management by fostering a fun, productive shift atmosphere.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell‑through strategy and optimal product availability.
  • Analyze daily business data and metrics to inform actions and provide recommendations on product focus or pricing.
  • Participate in the hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training.
  • Address team member performance and support ongoing learning through feedback, coaching, and hands‑on experiences.
  • Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team environment by building supportive relationships.
  • When serving as Supervisors on Duty, lead from the floor to ensure every guest receives technical product education and a world‑class experience.
Job Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience, with some experience in inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics.
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
Schedule / Availability
  • Work schedule varies based on store needs.
  • Typical shifts: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak periods, special events, or other circumstances, schedules may include early mornings, late nights, or overnight shifts.
Job Assets (Nice to Have)
  • Education:

    High school diploma/GED/equivalent or higher.
  • Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, especially in interpreting business reports and metrics.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service:
    Food safety and/or liquor service certification.
