The Inside Sales Representative assists customers through counter sales, phone calls, and email, consistently providing top‑notch customer service.
Responsibilities- Interact with walk‑in customers at the front counter
- Assist customers in selecting required parts and recommend associated products and services
- Receive and process orders via counter, phone, and email
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed
- Answer questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or direct them to the appropriate person
- Assist with any customer service issues that may arise
- Handle both incoming and outbound sales calls
- Achieve assigned performance goals and objectives set by management to grow the parts business
- Develop new leads by utilizing all available resources, including referrals, web, and other electronic media
- Maximize current customer potential by using all available resources, including CRM contacts, data mining tools, purchase analysis to determine growth opportunities, regular contact with owners and key decision makers, and maintaining current knowledge of new product and market developments
- Document all relevant account activity in the CRM tool or other appropriate areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Inside sales experience preferred.
- Diesel engine parts experience required.
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Bilingual a plus – Spanish and English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screening.
- Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
