The Public Works Streets and Drainage Team maintains 209 miles of streets, 36 miles of drainage ditches, gutters, street curbs, and medians, 2,662 curb inlets, 107 miles of drainage, and 12 miles of box culvert pipe. Sounds like a lot of work, right? Good thing these professionals have access to a number of state-of-the-art machines and heavy equipment to help get the job done!
Overtime & on-call benefits are provided, including additional pay and a take-home vehicle (mileage restrictions apply) for any after-hours calls or emergencies.

Experience:
Up to two(2) years ofrelevantexperience; required minimum of 2000 hours of light equipment operation.
Minimum of 2000 hours of experience or 2 years of light equipment operation.
Possession ofa Class B Commercial Texas Driver's License with Tankers Endorsement, with the ability to obtain, a Class A Commercial Texas Driver's License
Possession ofan IMSA Work Zone Traffic Control Safety certification.
Work requires unusual hours and the ability to be on call after business hours
