• No experience is required, but you must have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within one year of employment.
• Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas.
• Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas with a Tanker Endorsement within 12 months of employment.
• Must currently possess a TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) Class C Water Distribution and/or Class II Wastewater Collections license.

The Public Works Technician within our Water Division performs proper maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. This is accomplished by maintaining City-owned fire hydrants, valves, manholes, water meters, and City mains. Additional duties include safe operation of various small equipment and/or vehicles in order to complete other projects as assigned.
