Senior Java Developer - AI

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer - AI to join their team. As a Senior Java Developer - AI, you will be part of the IT Transformation and Modernization Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer - AI

Location: Southlake, TX (Onsite in Austin or Southlake 4 times weekly)

• Lead the development and deployment of large-scale software solutions supporting high-volume transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems to distributed platforms.
• Implement AI/ML solutions, including Large Language Models, into existing workflows and systems.
• Support cloud deployment strategies using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or PCF, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and innovative problem-solving approaches.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java, Spring, and web services.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML implementation and deployment.
• Experience working with containers, microservices, and cloud environments supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of databases such as Mongo
  
  DB, Aerospike, or Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Strong understanding of broker-dealer operations and financial domain expertise.
