** Senior Java Developer (12-Month Contract | Onsite – Dallas, TX)
** Overview
* * We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a high-performing engineering team on a 12-month onsite contract in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in modern, distributed environments and contributing to scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

What You’ll Do
* Develop and maintain backend services using
** Java and modern frameworks
*** Work across a
** distributed system architecture**, understanding application flows and integration points
* Build and support
** RESTful APIs
** and event-driven systems
* Contribute to
** unit and integration testing
** to ensure high-quality, reliable code
* Collaborate within
** SAFe Agile teams
** using tools like Jira and Confluence
* Participate in
** design and architecture discussions**, bringing ideas to improve solutions
* Leverage technologies including
** Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Angular, Oracle, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ
*** Write clean, maintainable code and collaborate closely with teammates to share knowledge and best practices

What You Have
* ** 8–12 years of experience
** in Java development and distributed systems
* Strong expertise in:  + Java,
** Spring Batch**, and REST API development  +
** Event-driven architecture (EDA)
** and RabbitMQ
* Experience with
** API design and integrations
*** Proficiency with
** Git Hub
* * and familiarity with
** CI/CD pipelines
*** Experience working in
** Agile environments
** with tools like Jira and Confluence
* Strong
** unit and integration testing
** skills* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Proven ability to collaborate and contribute as a strong team player

Nice to Have
* Experience with
** Kafka
* * and
** cloud platforms** (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
* Exposure to
** Angular, Node.js**, or front-end integration with REST APIs
* Knowledge of
** MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle databases
*** Experience with
** Git Hub Copilot
** or AI-assisted development tools
