Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Report to the Practice Administration and Clinic Director and provide leadership and administrative oversight to practice operations
- Plan, develop, and organize workflows while directing day to day activities of staff and practice functions
- Manage financial performance including staffing efficiency, budget awareness, and supporting revenue cycle processes
- Promote the practice within Southside Family Medicine and throughout the broader medical community
- Maintain working knowledge of clinical operations and steps in to support coverage when needed within licensure guidelines
Experience and Work History
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Excellent computer and word processing skills
- Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the clinics office
- Knowledge of insurance, collection procedures and regulations
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Management experience
- Three to five years experience in health care practice/medical office
