Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision and attention to detail
  • Assist in tax planning strategies, including estate planning, mergers & acquisitions, and investment analysis
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying current on tax law changes
  • Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and general ledger accounts to support accurate tax reporting
  • Reconcile accounts, perform double entry bookkeeping, and maintain accurate records using accounting software like Quick Books or similar platforms
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain complex tax concepts.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance with a focus on tax compliance and reporting
  • Familiarity with tax law, individual tax preparation, corporate tax expertise, and auditing processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books,Drake Tax, and Excel-based financial report writing
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-making
  • Effective client communication skills to explain complex tax issues clearly and professionally
