Job DescriptionJob Goal: To assist the Special Education Teacher to provide the best educational experience for the District’s Special Education students.
Supervision: Reports to the Building Principal.
Education, Work Experience, and Licensure:
- Required: Associate’s Degree or two (2) years post‑secondary training in education or related field or successful completion of Para Pro Assessment.
- Preferred: Two plus years of prior work experience and experience working with children with disabilities.
The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing and pulling objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis and over 20 pounds occasionally. Fine manipulation is required for the use of a computer, keyboard and other business machines.
EnvironmentalConditions
The occupant is required to work indoors and outdoors. Regular chemical solvents include toners and cleaning fluids.

Salary: $24.54 per hour
