Job Position Summary: Responsible for the assembling of individual parts into a finished product or component, following blueprints and instructions.

• Assemble assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
• Conduct inspections to verify the integrity and performance of assembled parts, identify defects, and report them.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts with precision and adherence to specifications.
• Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other assembly line workers to meet production goals.
• Complete production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
• Perform complex assembly tasks, potentially involving multiple parts or subassemblies.
• Assist with inventory maintenance, stock checks, and material tracking.
• Interpret and analyze schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to guide the process.
• Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Ensure all assembly tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
• Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees as needed.
• Follow 6S procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Normal production environment with possible high noise levels, physical hazards from moving equipment, exposure to fumes, dust, mist, oil, cutting fluids, sharp edges, and forklifts.
• May require travel between Southwick and Westfield facilities.

• Ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
• Lift up to 30 pounds as required.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, and perform related movements for extended periods.

$22.50 - $32.25 USD
