Aerospace Deburring Technician (Burr Hand) -

Training on 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Schedule:

2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - Midnight


Pay:
  • 1st

    Shift: $26.10 - $32.35/hr
  • 2nd

    Shift: $22.50 - $28.00/hr + 25% shift differential
    (Compensation based on experience)
Our customer, a precision aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Deburring Technician to support finishing operations on complex machined components. This role focuses on larger aerospace hardware in a high-mix machining environment and is ideal for candidates who take pride in precision finishing and quality workmanship.

You'll be working on critical components such as housings and other complex aerospace hardware alongside experienced engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing operations on aerospace components
  • Remove excess material, burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections per blueprints and discrepancy reports
  • Determine appropriate deburring methods based on part condition, dimensions, and specifications
  • Assist with positioning and loading parts on equipment
  • Inspect parts and verify finished work meets required tolerances and quality standards
  • Interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow good manufacturing practices and safety procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Minimum 2 years deburring experience on aerospace components
  • Experience using deburring machines, tools, and finishing equipment
  • Experience working on larger machined parts (not small punch-style components)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect your own work
Preferred
  • 3-5 years deburring/finishing experience
  • Background polishing and inspecting precision machined aerospace hardware
  • Strong time management and communication skills
Work Environment & Requirements
  • High-precision aerospace manufacturing setting
  • Safety-focused environment with PPE required
  • Ability to handle and maneuver larger machined components
