1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Overtime: As Needed

Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ Years)

This role exists to support the continued production of complex aerospace components requiring precision machining, close‑tolerance work, and consistent quality.

At Tell Tool Operations, CNC Machinists play a critical role in producing aerospace hardware while working with advanced 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis milling equipment in a quality‑driven manufacturing environment.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines
  • Run production parts while maintaining aerospace quality standards
  • Perform basic setups on 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis machines
  • Load tooling, enter offsets, and verify machine setups
  • Read blueprints, operation sheets, and work instructions
  • Perform first‑piece inspections and in‑process inspections
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments as needed
  • Operate multiple machines of similar function when required
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO
    9001 requirements

What We’re Looking For Required
  • 3+ years of CNC milling experience
  • Aerospace machining experience
  • Ability to perform basic setups on 3, 4, and 5‑axis machines
  • Experience using precision inspection equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and operation sheets
  • Experience setting tooling and offsets
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
  • Technical school or machining program graduate
  • Experience machining complex aerospace components
  • Experience working in AS9100 or ISO
    9001 environments
