Salary Range: $19.25 To $32.25 Annually
Job Position SummaryResponsible to set up and run parts and be able to inspect their work and if needed make adjustments to produce a quality part.
- 3+ years of CNC Lathe Experience /li>
- Experience in Aerospace industry.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Tech School preferred.
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Operates a CNC Lathe.
- Follows Ops sheets and written or verbal instructions for product specifications.
- Operate within AS9100/ISO
9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control. - Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.
- Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
- Verifies and visually inspects work and dimensions per operations sheet to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and preset gages.
- Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
- May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
- Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
- May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
