Temporary Warehouse Driver 4.3.26
Whalley Computer Associates Inc is seeking a dependable and flexible Temporary Warehouse Driver to support our logistics and delivery operations from April through September. This role involves delivering computer equipment to customers, and minimal assisting with general warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, and material handling. Candidates must have a strong driving record, and thrive in a team
-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Assemble electronic devices and technology equipment using various tools
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership
- Customer deliveries using WCA’s delivery trucks (up to 26’ large cube truck)
- Pickup and delivery to/from local vendors and customers
- Proper vehicle care and service
- Pre & post trip inspection
- Keep WCA vehicles clean
- Report any service problems immediately
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Load & unload trucks
- Additional tasks as requested (Team player)
- Team player with positive attitude
- Excellent driving record (please provide copy of MVR)
- Professional appearance
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Great attention to detail and pride in accuracy
- Computer skills of 20 WPM minimum (tested)
- Fork lift certification a plus
- Experience operating trucks equipped with air brakes is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug test (signed release needed)
- Must be able to pass a background check (signed release needed)
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
WCA offers competitive pay rates based on experience and ability. Full time positions include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation and personal time, holiday pay, 401K with company match, and long-term disability.
Location: Southwick, MA (WCA Headquarters)
Hours: Monday
- Friday, 25-40+ hours a week
Rate: $22/hr
